The Power of Print In Southern Utah {Infographic}

We hear it all the time; print is dead. There is no reason to advertise through it anymore. That is not true. Print marketing is still extremely valuable as an advertising tool and the power of print is extremely undervalued. A survey was conducted in Southern Utah to determine how valuable using the phonebook really is and here are the results.

Survey respondents were asked “When looking for a local business, such as a plumber, dentist, or auto repair, participants say they search____?” They then chose whether they searched online, in the phone book or used a mixture of both. As you can see from the results below, the power of print is still quite high. 55% of respondents said that they prefer using the phonebook compared to only 23% preferring an organic Internet search. In addition, the total phonebook search reality is 80% or more in all areas of study. Those are some important statistics.

Print is not dead. In fact, it is quite the opposite. The power of print is still going strong.
